National Congress of Black Men Canada (B.C.)

The National Congress of Black Men Canada (NCBMC) is a concentrated network of 140+ Black professionals generating over $20 million in annual earning power across British Columbia. We mobilize our collective leadership, capital, and influence to drive measurable community impact through strategic investment, corporate partnership, and culturally grounded mental health advocacy.

We convene high-capacity professionals, entrepreneurs, fathers, and emerging leaders in intentional spaces designed for executive growth, intergenerational mentorship, and economic collaboration. Through structured leadership development and coordinated engagement, we are building a national network rooted in accountability, performance, and legacy—transforming economic strength into resilient families, expanding businesses, and stronger communities across Canada.

Our Mission

Our mission is to unite, empower, and invest in Black men by building sustainable networks that strengthen both individual well-being and collective progress. We focus on advancing mental health and emotional resilience, cultivating lasting peer and professional connections, and creating real-time financial and career opportunities. Through intentional leadership pathways, we aim to benefit families, communities, and institutions while ensuring Black male voices are present and influential in equity, justice, and nation-building conversations. We recognize that when individual wellness is supported, collective impact becomes possible — and lasting change can take root.

Our Roots: Brothers Brunch Vancouver

Brothers Brunch Vancouver began in 2021 in response to the isolation and lack of culturally relevant spaces for Black men in British Columbia.

Through intentional gathering, shared meals, guest speakers, and open dialogue, the initiative has grown into a trusted space for authentic connection, leadership development, and collective care.

Its success demonstrates how relationship-first spaces can evolve into scalable, community-driven models. These principles now inform the national vision of the National Congress of Black Men Canada.
